From payment to units

You invest

invest returns a Payment with status: PENDING and a reference.

The money arrives

The Payment becomes COMPLETED and gets a transactionId. A Transaction now exists with status: RECONCILED. If the money never arrives, the Payment becomes FAILED and there is no Transaction.

Ndovu invests it

The Transaction becomes COMPLETED with its units, and the holding in the portfolio shows them.

How often to check

Stop checking a Payment once it’s COMPLETED or FAILED, and a Transaction once it’s COMPLETED or ARCHIVED: they don’t change after that. Every check counts towards your rate limit of 300 requests per minute. To follow many customers, list each customer’s pending payments rather than reading every payment one by one.
